High school juniors: have you started planning for college yet? As we come into spring, it's time to get together your thoughts about college. The spring is a popular time for juniors to take the SATs, visit schools, and start meeting with your guidance counselor.

One piece of advice as you start (or continue) your college planning process - ask questions. So as you start honing in on your top choices and start getting in touch with colleges, make sure to have questions ready. Here are twenty questions to keep in mind:

These will help you determine important college facts when planning for college.These questions were developed after interviewing two college admissions officers in New England.



College tours offer a great opportunity to ask questions from a current student. This can give you some insight into life on campus, academics and more. Keep in mind that during the tour, you'll be getting a sales pitch. So be sure to ask questions in order to get beyond the shine.
